Established on February 1, 2002, Pahamin & Pahamin is a dynamic and forward-thinking practice located in Damansara Perdana. Subsequently, Pahamin & Pahamin Kuala Terengganu branch was officially established on August 1, 2002.

Notably, we were honoured with the Cyber Champion Award by the Business Software Alliance, an organisation that boasts prominent software and hardware companies among its members. During the tenure of a late partner as the Secretary General of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, he played a pivotal role in significantly advancing consumer rights, a legacy evident through the enactment of the Consumer Protection Act of 1999, which laid the foundation for the establishment of the Consumer Claim Tribunal. Furthermore, in his capacity as the Controller of Copyright, he made substantial contributions to strengthening intellectual property protection. His leadership resulted in the enactment of the Optical Disc Act of 2000, granting the authority the power to license optical disc factories and leading the charge in forming the Special Copyright Task Force, a vital initiative in combating copyright piracy. Additionally, he was a driving force behind the corporatisation of the Intellectual Property Division and the Registrar of Companies and Business. Beyond these accomplishments, our partner’s career included distinguished roles as a district land administrator and magistrate.
On the international stage, we earned the recognition as an intellectual property law expert by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) having presented working papers at numerous international seminars in Malaysia and abroad.

Dato' Pahamin was a visionary leader, mentor, and a source of inspiration to many.
His dedication to the legal industry left an indelible mark on our lives and the firm.
In honouring Dato' Pahamin's memory, we reflect on the impact he made and the values he upheld.
Dato' Pahamin A. Rajab obtained his legal qualification with an LLB (Hons) from University of London in 1990. Subsequently in 1994, he achieved a syariah law qualification by completing a Diploma in Syariah Law and Practice (DSLP) from the International Islamic University. Following this, in 1997, he sucessfully completed his Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) and was officially called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor in 2001.
Before embarking on his career as an Advocate and Solicitor, Dato’ Pahamin dedicated over three decades to serving the Government of Malaysia. His roles within the government included serving as the Collector of Land Revenue, Director-General of Road Transport, and Secretary-General of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs. In these influential positions, he actively participated in the legislative process and played a pivotal role in the implementation of various laws.
Dato' Pahamin possessed extensive experience in Intellectual Property work, overseeing trademark registrations and providing expert counsel in Intellectual Property disputes. Additionally, he had a wealth of experience in corporate and commercial matters.
In 2004, Dato' Pahamin took a significant step in his career by co-founding Pahamin & Pahamin with his beloved daughters. This venture marked the beginning of a new chapter in his legal journey, where he contributed his profound legal expertise and played a pivotal role in establishing the firm’s reputation for excellence in the legal industry.
Throughout his lifetime, Dato’ Pahamin also held positions as chairman and director of several private companies, further exemplifying his multifaceted and influential contributions to both the legal and business sectors.
